The Wonderfully Ubiquitous 100 (er, 53) Things!

100. I was born in Washington, D.C. and still live in the area.

99. You don't usually meet people like that.

98. I went to college in Minnesota, but moved back here a year after I graduated.

97. That was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life.

96. I hate Rice Krispie treats, but love making them.

95. I watch more television than I probably should.

94. Some of it is educational and brain embiggening.

93. Some of it makes me brain cells shrivel.

92. I also read a lot, so I don't feel too guilty about the T.V. thing

91. But I still sometimes do.

90. I love sushi

89. But I hate wasabi.

88. I once ate a huge gob of it.

87. My boyfriend had dared me.

86. We are not together anymore.

85. But not just because of the wasabi.

form that will let me.

83. My dad is African-American.

78. A friend from college introduced me to her music; we used to crank it up really loudly (as much as you can crank folk music) and jump back and forth from her twin bed to her roommate's, singing all the words at the top of our lungs.

77. I went to a Montessori school as a child, and then switched to Catholic school.

76. I still have my kilt; it has been known to make an appearance on special occasions.

75. I loved Montessori school so much as a child that I am now studying to be a Montessori teacher.

74. I love rainy days.

73. Too many sunny days in a row actually put me in a bad mood.

72. I love snowy days even more.

71. I was raised by a single mom; I think she did about as well as she could with me. :)

70. I have one sister; we are three years apart. We are very different and very similar at the same time.

66. I am allergic to virtually everything.

64. I love historical fiction, both in movie and book form.

65. I have several piercings, but none are that
interesting. Those got infected and I had to take them out.

63. I do a lot of my shopping at my local big organic grocery store and the neighborhood co-op.

62. I would love to live on an organic farm for a year or two.

61. I would also love to live in Italy again.

60. I lived there for 4 months in college.

59. I had a dead sexy Italian boyfriend who wore cute clothes, loved to dance, and drove really fast.

58. I spent a lot of my time in discotheques with said boyfriend.

57. The woman I lived with had a super cute 3 year old granddaughter named Julia (GYOO-lia) who didn't understand that I didn't speak Italian very well. She just thought I was really dumb.

56. I ate cheese, bread, chocolate, pasta, and extremely fatty deli meats every single day that I was there in copious amounts and never gained an ounce.

55. If I breathe in too deeply here, I gain five pounds.

54. I still eat whetever I want.

53. I consider myself a liberal politically, and voted for Nader in my first presidential election.
