Comments! I have comments! Thanks so much for all the support...I just love feelin' the love.
Progress on the floofita-poofita continues...I was getting into a stockinette stitch rut, so I decided to make the back piece the front piece so I could try my hand at the neck shaping. Much unraveling did ensue, especially tricky with this brand of mohair...Chelsea warned me that it would get knotty, but did I listen, oh no, of course not! I was ultimately triumphant, and am all but a few rows done with what is looking like an actual garment. Hooray!
I have to say though, that Under the Hoodie is being very much neglected...as much as I try to be an open-minded, non-discriminatory fiber hog, it's hard to get excited over gray wool after spending so much time with pink mohair. But floofa is knitting up so quickly, I figure Hoodie will soon be without any competition. Of course, once I get my hands on a good beginner cabling pattern that doesn't scare me to death, all bets are off...:)
In non-knitting news, I went down to putter in the garden this afternoon only to discover that someone had plucked my first ripe tomato and my almost ripe pepper. Why would someone do that? I just don't get people sometimes. My only hope is that the plucker is a really good cook, so that at least my produce wasn't plucked in vain.
Happy lazy Sunday to all!

poor, poor Hoodie. playing wallflower to the flashier Floofa - just biding it's time, waiting (like all good sensible fibers)for you to grow weary of Floofa's fickle ways and begin to appreciate her for the steady, loyal friend she is! - sounds like an After School Special!
